About the Role:
We are searching for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Aquatics team. As the Lifeguard in Training, reporting to the Aquatics Supervisor, you will assist the Instructors/Lifeguards in ensuring service excellence and the safe operation of all aquatic programs and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Complete required pool readings as assigned

Assist the instructor with the following:
- Classes beginning/finishing on time
- Implementing lessons
- Demonstration of skills
- Equipment setup and cleanup
- Continuous evaluation of participants
- Assist with special events as assigned
- Follow assigned guard rotations and assist with supervision of participants
- Assist in pool maintenance as assigned
- Perforn other duties as required
- Current awards as follows: Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid and Assistant Instructors
- Minimum 14 years of age
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours including evening and weekend shifts
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Aquatics volunteer experience

Wage: $17.20 per hour
